Phyllis Simon

Phyllis Simon, Of Counsel at FarrowLaw PC, brings more than 25 years of experience advising businesses and individuals regarding business transactions and employment law. In addition to conducting workplace investigations, she handles a wide range of employment-related issues, including discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes,  and employment contract matters.

Phyllis began her career as a tax specialist with a large certified public accounting firm before serving for over 13 years as in-house tax counsel at AT&T, a Fortune 500 telecommunications company. She later practiced at several law firms—rising to senior attorney and partner roles—where she advised small and mid-sized businesses as well as individuals. In her prior tax controversy practice, she successfully represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the California Franchise Tax Board, the California State Board of Equalization, and local taxing authorities.

Drawing on her extensive tax background, Phyllis also advises clients regarding business formations, contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolutions, and regulatory compliance. Known for her practical guidance and steady advocacy, she helps clients navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges with clarity and confidence.

Phyllis earned her AB in International Relations from Stanford University and her JD from UC Berkeley School of Law.
